GENERAL INFORMATION:


1. What is the Missouri Lottery Retailer Portal?

The portal is a secure website that provides news, reports and resources to registered Missouri Lottery retailers.


2. I am the owner of a Missouri Lottery retail location, how do I get access to the secure parts of the portal?

Please contact your Missouri Lottery Sales Representative to begin the process of getting access to the site.


3. I am a manager or employee of Missouri Lottery Retail Location, how do I get access to the secure parts of the portal?

Please talk with the owner of your location or your Missouri Lottery Sales Representative to get access to the site.


4. I have forgotten my password, how can I get a new password?

Please click the “Forgot my password” link in the Login box on the homepage and follow the instructions.


5. What is “Your contribution to Missouri education?”

The Missouri Lottery’s proceeds go to Missouri public education. “Your contribution to Missouri education” shows the amount the Missouri Lottery has contributed to Missouri education from your store or chain’s total sales for the last 24 months. <


6. How can I change my password?

Log in to the Missouri Lottery Retailer Portal and click the “Account Information” link at the top of the page. Click the “Edit” link in the password section of the “Account Info” page.


7. How can I change my email address?

Log in to the Missouri Lottery Retailer Portal and click the “Account Information” link at the top of the page. Click the “Edit” link in the Email section of the “Account Info” page.


8. I have a question or comment. How can I contact Missouri Lottery?

To contact us, please:

  • Click the ’Contact Us’ link at the bottom of any page to send us an email;
  • OR, contact us directly at 1-866-665-MOLOTTERY.


9. I need a logo for a marketing piece. Where can I download it?

Logos and other marketing materials are available in the “Marketing Materials” section of the website. To view these materials, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to the Missouri Lottery Retailer Portal.
  • Click the “Marketing Materials” link in the main navigation menu at the top of any page.

10. What is the difference between a chain account and a retail account?

A chain account includes access to reports and information for all of the retail locations owned or operated by one entity. A retail account only provides access to the information for one particular retail location, regardless of whether or not it is independently owned.


11. What is the difference between a Chain Owner, Chain Administrator, Store Owner and Store Manager?

For purposes of accessing information through the Retailer Portal, retailers will be classified as follows:

  • Chain Owner - The person, group or entity that holds majority ownership of a chain.
  • Chain Administrator - The individual authorized to maintain a chain’s Retailer Portal account as its head user. The chain administrator must be authorized by the chain owner to maintain the chain’s portal account.
  • Store Owner - The person, group or entity that holds majority ownership of an independent retail location.
  • Store Manager - The individual holding the title of "Manager" at a retail location. The store manager must be authorized by the store owner to maintain the store’s Retailer Portal account.

12. How can I add another user to my retail account?

If you own your business, please follow these steps to add another user.

  • Log in to the Missouri Lottery Retailer Portal.
  • Click the “Administration” link near the top right of the page.
  • Click the “Add User” button at the left of the User Administration page.
  • Complete the rest of the new user form, including a valid email address and role type.
  • Click Submit.


13. How can I add another user to my chain account?

If you own your business, please follow these steps to add another user:

  • Log in to the Missouri Lottery Retailer Portal.
  • Click the “Administration” link near the top right of the page.
  • Click the “Add User” button at the left of the User Administration page.
  • Choose a user type on the right of the form.
  • If you choose Store Owner or Store Manager, choose a retail location from the Retailer ID dropdown menu. If you know the Missouri Lottery ID number for the retail location you may type it in the form.
  • Complete the rest of the new user form, including a valid email address.
  • Click Submit.

14. How can I edit a user account?

To edit a user, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to the Missouri Lottery Retailer Portal.
  • Click the “Administration” link near the top right of the page.
  • Find the user you want to edit in the list.
  • Click on the user’s name.
  • Update the available fields and click Submit


Note: You cannot delete your own account and you cannot change the user type, Chain ID, Retailer ID or Login for the account. To change any of these items, please delete the account and create a new account. To have your account deleted, please call 1-866-MOLOTTERY (1-866-665-6883 toll free).


15. How can I delete a user account?

To delete a user, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to the Missouri Lottery Retailer Portal.
  • Click the “Administration” link near the top right of the page.
  • Find the user you want to edit in the list.
  • Click on the user’s name.
  • To delete the user, click the “Delete” link in the bottom right of the form.
  • Confirm the deletion by clicking “OK” in the confirmation box


Note: You cannot delete your own account. To have your account deleted, please call 1-866-MOLOTTERY (1-866-665-6883 toll free).

16. How can I view my total Year-to-Date Sales?

To view Year-to-Date Sales, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to the Missouri Lottery Retailer Portal.
  • Click “Reports” tab near the top right of the page.
  • Click the second tab, labeled “Total Sales”


Note: Year-to-Date Sales for individual game types are viewable by selecting the game type tab (i.e. “Club Games”) instead of “Total Sales” in step 3.



17. How can I compare the sales figures of two different time periods?

To perform a sales comparison, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to the Missouri Lottery Retailer Portal.
  • Click “Reports” tab near the top right of the page.
  • Click the eighth tab, labeled “Sales Comparison.”
  • Select a retailer.
  • Select a time span.
  • Next to “Compare Dates,” choose the two time periods you want to compare.
  • Click “SUBMIT.”
  • Sales comparisons will appear below the blue “Report Criteria” form.


18. Can I export report data to Microsoft Excel?

Yes.

  • At the top right of the screen above every report, there is a "Download Spreadsheet" button that links to a comma-separated values (.csv) version of the report which can be opened in Microsoft Excel.
  • To download the file, simply right-click (control-click on Mac), the icon and select “Save target as…”
